Au Revoir, Mes Amis
Yesterday was another one of my trademark “chill” days spent at my apartment taking care of last minute biz before I jet off to NYC this morning. I spent the day working and packing but managed to get out of the house long enough to meet up with Mike for a bite to eat at Chili’s. Seriously, Chili’s is one of my fave places to eat … but I can’t ever get anyone to go with me … which is why I <3 Mike so, he's my Chili’s buddy :) After dinner, I made a quick trip to visit Steph and Alek one last time before they leave for Europe for the rest of the summer :( We’re planning on meeting up in Paris in about a month but it’ll be very sad around here without them. They’re gonna have a fab time, tho … I can’t wait to see them again in Paris!
I am jetting off in a few hours so the rest of the week, I’ll be comin’ atcha from the East Coast. I’ll be in NYC for a few days and then Detroit for a few days .. Woot! I’m excited to see all my peoples but I’m not all that jazzed about the East Coast/Midwest humidity — OY!

I love Chili’s and even on my birthday nobody would go there with me. We ended up somewhere else. CHILI’s an addicting place to eat where you’ll eat alone.
