she truly baffles me. i understand completely that addiction is an extremely difficult illness to overcome, but if she was so pressed on making the mandela show and glastonbury, why couldnt she just TRY to start getting clean after her release from the hospital? if she wanted to do those shows so bad, why would she settle for delivering half-assed performances. it’s unbelievable to me. if future emphysema isn’t a good enough wake up call, i dont know what is, but i have a feeling it’s going to be much much worse.
