Matthew McConaughey Hits The Beach With Some Buds

Woot! For the second weekend in a row, Matthew McConaughey stripped off his shirt and slipped on his board shorts and made his way to the beach to soak up some rays and catch some waves with his male friends. This is only the second shirtless outing that Matthew has embarked upon in MONTHS, so it is still just cause for celebration. Here are a few pics of Matthew loading up the pickup with beers, bros and surfboards as he and his friends made their way to the beach:


Ahhh … seeing the half-nekkid Matthew McConaughey sure is a sight for sore eyes. We don’t get nearly enough of it anymore. Anyways … upon arriving at the beach in Malibu, CA yesterday, Matthew got right down to biz and started catching some waves. Of course, the assembled paparazzi decided to take some photos of Matthew riding the waves … which, for some reason, angered a group of local surfers who took it upon themselves to confront the paps and stir up an altercation …

Ladies Love Chace Crawford

I mean, who doesn't?

You know who doesn’t have a hard time procuring attention from the ladies? Yeah, that would be Chace Crawford. In fact, I don’t know that Chace would have much difficulty procuring attention from the gentlemen as well but that is a topic for another day. Here are a few pics of Chace on the Southampton, NY set of Gossip Girl going about his usual biz, not really paying attention to anything in particular backstage … when he stumbles upon a gaggle of bikini-clad young ladies clamoring for a photo. Being the swell guy that he is, Chace begrudgingly obliges and poses for the pic:


Isn’t it really nice of Chace to make these ladies happy by posing for a pic? You can tell he’s a giver … someone who really enjoys making folks happy. I don’t imagine it was any great struggle for Chace to give so freely of his time to his adoring fans but still, when it’s commonplace for some big name celebs to publicly shun the fans that made them famous, it’s refreshing to see young stars appreciate their fanbase. Tho, if Chace’s star continues to rise, he may too one day shun his fans and stop paying attention to them … after all, he’s already begun to stay away from his #1 fan JC Chasez. Tsk Tsk.

Ed Westwick Works. It. Out. In Argyle

Filming continued on the set of The CW’s Gossip Girl in Southampton, NY on Friday where Ed Westwick, who plays Chuck Bass, was spied on set doin’ his best “preppy sexy” … check it out:


See … argyle ain’t for everyone and yet, in the guise of Chuck Bass, it so works. Not just anyone can wear knee socks and a cardigan to the beach and make it work. Well done. After Ed finished filming his scenes, he stripped off the formal wear and donned a more causal outfit … making sure to show off the guns. I dunno if any of this showboating will help Ed with the ladies but you can’t fault the guy for trying.
