HBO‘s new series True Blood has only been on the air for a few weeks but those of you who have seen the show are surely very familiar with actor Ryan Kwanten who plays Jason on the series (brother to Anna Paquin‘s character). For those of you who don’t watch the show/know who he is … in a nutshell, he’s a very randy character with a sick body and a penchant for appearing on screen as nekkid as possible. Yeah, I don’t know where Ryan Kwaten has been hiding all our lives but I’m glad that he’s finally getting some … er, exposure in True Blood. In fact, I think I’m enjoying all the mancandy on the show much more than all that vampire stuff they got going on … but, hey, that’s just me. I can’t help it if I keep getting distracted from the storyline every time they throw a nekkid man on screen. With a bod like this, can you blame me? Okay I must admit I love this show. I like how Trueblood incorporates vampires into current events instead of doing a period piece. Tara is the best person on the show( Anna p’s best friend on the show). She is hilarious and in your face. I love Anna P..I am so happy they cast her as Sookie. The show for me is fresh, fun and downright hilarious( did you watch this week’s when the stud above had to get the blood taken from his PENIS?). It was great. His hot looks really don’t hurt the show either. I think it started a little slow but with each episode comes more plot and story line and I get sucked in that much more!! I really do love the show and hope it stays on the air for many years to come!!

Hes Australian and used to play Vinnie on Home and Away. Its the same show that Danni Minogue and Isla Fisher used to be on. I think he might have done some kids shows as well before he moved to the US.

love the show…Ryan is some nice eye candy but I think Bill’s got it going on for me a bit more. May simply be because I’m a Ryan’s character seems like such a slimeball that it gets in the way of his good looks. Bill, however, has that whole brooding danger thing happening…much more appealing.

Me and the bf LOVE this show- its crazy, its funny, and it keeps us guessing, but we were a BIT disturbed by all the hot nekkid sex (him more than me, and not because of the sex, but because we were expecting vampires and all we got was sex and sexual tension and nekkidness!!) Mr. Kwanten’s character, Jason, is only on the show to be naked and have lots of sex and get himself into sex-related mischief, but that is FINE by me. Love the show, can’t wait for HBO Sundays- True Blood + Entourage + Little Britan + Life and Times of Tim = amazing! Woop woop!

They made up some bizzare storyline about him going into the witness protection programme (naturally after faking his death) to write him out, but I’m sure all his H&A fans down in Oz and New Zealand would be happy to see him back!

My new favorite show! I’m usually not much for vampires, but this show has got me hooked! It’s like a dangerous version of Nip/Tuck :) I was surprised by all the sex scenes, though, but can’t say that I mind them one bit.. ;)

I have to say he’s one of the only characters that are cast well, in my opinion. I read all the books and I really love them, but I’m not at all thrilled with the cast of the show. Jason is an exception, as well as Sam, but I think Anna Paquin as Sookie is really annoying. And Tara as well…
But I think it’s good they are staying as close to the books as possible and therefore (and for some Jason Stackhouse sex action ;) I’m going to resume watching….
